I am an admittedly picky customer (a.k.a. "Pain in Rump"). However, after sending a barrage of initial questions, all of which were answered promptly and concisely, I was greeted with my order. Having to exchange for the next size, the foremost professionalism by way of patience was issued and, wha-la!, Downbound has a lifelong customer. Good job guys. You are one of the truly admirable in that you are of the rare breed we refer to as good retailers--politically, socially, environmentally, as well as humanistically!

Nice look, craftsmanship but not enough support |

I love the look of these and the environmental & responsible craftsmanship. But they just don't offer enough support for my feet for any serious walking or hiking. They would be okay for lounging but not as a walking shoe which is what I've been searching for (nonleather of course).
