These shoes are my favorite. In fact, this is my third pair. I wore my first pair all over the Hawaiian Islands every day for the better part of a year and a half, and their still going. These shoes are sturdier than they look, although they are not very supportive. I hiked around a lot in them, although I don't recommend it. I washed mine in the washing machine every so often to keep them clean, air dry because the dryer will shrink them. This will be my first pair with the thicker sole, so we'll see how long they last. Over all a fabulous product that comes highly recommended.
