This vegan product is manufactured in the United States by Evolution Diet Pet Food Corporation. Evolution was founded by Eric Weisman in 1989, and is currently run by Eric and his wife Lynn. Both Eric and Lynn are long-time animal rights activists and vegans. They live with approximately 30 rescued cats, dogs, and ferrets in their St. Paul, Minnesota home. All of their cats, dogs, and ferrets are vegan, and the animals that eat Evolution vegan food across North America number in the tens of thousands.

Feeding Instructions:
The daily feeding amount will vary according to the age, breed, activity level, and environment of your cat. As a general rule, you should feed him or her approximately half of a 13 ounce can per day for every 6 to 10 pounds of body weight. You can also mix this moist vegan cat food with vegan cat kibble (2 parts moist to 1 part kibble).
Note of Caution: When you receive this product, you will find the following text on the Evolution label: "FOR THE FIRST WEEK, ADD ONE OR TWO TABLESPOONS OF CRUSHED TUNO OR OIL-PACKED TUNA AND GRADUALLY REDUCE THAT AMOUNT TO ZERO." While we agree that you should consider purchasing tuna-friendly Tuno (fake tuna)—if you can find it at your local health food store—as a way of easing your companion(s) onto this new food if they don't take to it immediately, but we do not endorse purchasing real human-grade tuna for that purpose.
Nutritional Adequacy:
Evolution Vegan Gourmet Entree Cat Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) cat food nutrient profiles for all life stages. In other words, this food is 100% nutritionally complete for your cat, whether a kitten or a senior.
