Downbound is very reliable and has wonderful prices. I have ordered vegan pet food several times for both my dog and my cat, and I am impressed with the quality of the food and the speed in which Downbound ships my orders.

Downbound was recommended to me by Evolution Diet (the company that makes this vegan cat food). I ordered several items and had excellent service, and the products are wonderful. I do not hesitate to use Downbound for any of my pet supplies and other products.

Pretty good |

This dry cat food seems pretty good. I also bought a can of the wet food which I will leave a separate review for.
My cat is finicky like most cats, but it eats this food as well as the dry food I was giving it before. As far as I can tell, it seems to like it. It has been on it for a couple of months and there are no signs of any problem or going off the food or anything like that.
The only problem I have with it is I think the pieces are slightly too big. If they were just a bit smaller or the same dimensions but cut in two I think it would be better.

My cat LOVES it! |

About a year ago, I decided that I could no longer continue to feed my cat meat by-products when I hadn't eaten them in years (11 1/2 as of now).
I looked into vegetarian foods, and found Vegecat. I bought a lot of it and started making it. She liked it better than the meat-based foods, but still ate very little.
I ended up moving into an apartment without an oven, and had no way to cook it, so I decided to buy some pre-made. Well, I found this site and bought the Evolution food. She eats well now and comes on the run every time I open the bag to fill her dish.
Thank you so much for this wonderful product!

if you are have that inner struggle whether you should feed your cats vegan food or not, the answer is yes! this food is terrific, my kitties love it and they are healthy as can be. everyone who meets them comments on their shiny coats and healthy little bodies. they aren't fats cats nor skinny just perfect. my piper used to have health issues when she was eating that nasty meat catfood, it was even the kind from the vet. now she has been vegan(well i have witnessed her eating bugs) for over 2.5 yrs and is as fit as a fiddle. My boy bear has been vegan for 2 yrs since i adopted him as a little one and he is in great health as well. so if you want something with little preparation time, its perfect and they go crazy for it so it must be tasty! so don't have any worries, they will be in good health so just do it. do it for them, do it for your own convictions and do it for all the other animals who don't need to be your precious companion animals dinner.
