Feeding Instructions:

The daily feeding amount will vary according to the age, breed, activity level, and environment of your cat. You can use the following feeding chart as a guideline:

CAT'S WEIGHT KIBBLE PER DAY
Up to 10 lbs  ¼ to ½ cup
10 to 15 lbs ½ to ¾ cup
15 to 20 lbs  ¾ to 1 cup

You can also mix this vegan cat kibble with moist vegan cat food (1 part kibble to 2 parts moist).

Kittens:
Kittens can be fed Evolution as soon as they begin to nibble at solid foods (usually at 3 to 4 weeks old). Kittens under 6 months old should be fed all of the food they will eat.

Transitioning Adults:
Transition your adult cat companions to Evolution gradually. Begin by mixing Evolution with your companions' familiar food to get them used to the new taste. Some experimentation may be necessary, so don't be afraid to use your imagination. Some cats enjoy nutritional yeast or other unique treats mixed in their food.

Nutritional Adequacy:

Evolution Vegan Gourmet Pasta Cat Kibble is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) cat food nutrient profiles for all life stages. In other words, this food is 100% nutritionally complete for your cat, whether a kitten or a senior.

my beautiful vegan kitties love evolution kibble!! April 14, 2007
Reviewer: Jessica Forbes from Victoria, BC Canada
if you are have that inner struggle whether you should feed your cats vegan food or not, the answer is yes! this food is terrific, my kitties love it and they are healthy as can be. everyone who meets them comments on their shiny coats and healthy little bodies. they aren't fats cats nor skinny just perfect. my piper used to have health issues when she was eating that nasty meat catfood, it was even the kind from the vet. now she has been vegan(well i have witnessed her eating bugs) for over 2.5 yrs and is as fit as a fiddle. My boy bear has been vegan for 2 yrs since i adopted him as a little one and he is in great health as well. so if you want something with little preparation time, its perfect and they go crazy for it so it must be tasty! so don't have any worries, they will be in good health so just do it. do it for them, do it for your own convictions and do it for all the other animals who don't need to be your precious companion animals dinner.

Evolution Cat Kibble April 14, 2007
Reviewer: J.G. from Kettering, OH United States
Being vegan for quite a few years now, I always felt strange feeding my cat a meat-based diet.  After researching cat nutrition, I found that cats are able to live a healthy life on vegan cat food that has taurine supplements and such.  When I ran across Evolution cat kibble, I was hesitant to make the switch, but it has turned out wonderfully.  My cat seems to enjoy the food and I definitely feel more comfortable with feeding it to her.  She is extremely healthy...  she went through her last vet visit with flying colors!
