This vegan product is manufactured in the United States by Evolution Diet Pet Food Corporation. Evolution was founded by Eric Weisman in 1989, and is currently run by Eric and his wife Lynn. Both Eric and Lynn are long-time animal rights activists and vegans. They live with approximately 30 rescued cats, dogs, and ferrets in their St. Paul, Minnesota home. All of their cats, dogs, and ferrets are vegan, and the animals that eat Evolution vegan food across North America number in the tens of thousands.

Feeding Instructions:

The daily feeding amount will vary according to the age, breed, activity level, and environment of your cat. You can use the following feeding chart as a guideline:

CAT'S WEIGHT KIBBLE PER DAY
Up to 10 lbs  ¼ to ½ cup
10 to 15 lbs ½ to ¾ cup
15 to 20 lbs  ¾ to 1 cup

You can also mix this vegan cat kibble with moist vegan cat food (1 part kibble to 2 parts moist). 

Kittens: 
Kittens can be fed Evolution as soon as they begin to nibble at solid foods (usually at 3 to 4 weeks old). Kittens under 6 months old should be fed all of the food they will eat.

Transitioning Adults: 
Transition your adult cat companions to Evolution gradually. Begin by mixing Evolution with your companions' familiar food to get them used to the new taste. Some experimentation may be necessary, so don't be afraid to use your imagination. Some cats enjoy nutritional yeast or other unique treats mixed in their food.

Evolution Vegan Gourmet Pasta Cat Kibble is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) cat food nutrient profiles for all life stages. My cat is picky and tends to prefer her vet prescribed dry food (which I hate feeding her!) to any 'friendlier' foods I've tried. With this food, I introduced her gradually over the course of a few months, and now she loves it as much as her vet food! This kibble smells good too.

A great product! I add this with evolution gourment wet food to feed to my cat. Flo loves it and eats it all the time. The texture is crunchy, the smell is like regular dry cat food and it is healthy and meets all nutrition requirements for cat food. I do add vegan enzymes as a back up. This is usually my highlighted purchase along with the evolution wet food at downbound.

I recently introduced my cat to the Vegan Pasta Kibble. Just like with any new food, I mixed 3/4 of his old food with 1/4 of the vegan food for a week, then 50/50 for another week, then again 1/4 of the old food with 3/4 of the vegan food and now 100% vegan food. The transition was extremely easy. My cat is in good shape, eats a lot, loves the new food, and has a nice shiny coat. He seems to be a happy fellow.
I just ordered a larger quantity of the pasta kibble, because it can't be found in Montreal :(
I definitey recommend it. Give it a try with your pet. What's in that food sounds much more healthy than was goes into the conventional pet food!
